The Bruins varsity soccer team aced the Jefferson Dragons on Friday, May 9, bringing their winning streak to six and their overall record to 17-2 and advancing to the State Championship match. The Bruins will now face the 15-4 Johnson Knights (Gainesville) for the title on Wednesday, May 14. The Knights blanked another top team, the Oconee Warriors, on May 9 to advance to the championship matchup. Wednesday’s game will be held on neutral territory at McEachern High School, 2400 New MacLand Road, Powder Springs, with a scheduled start time of 7:30 p.m.
