Hair is second; Dolphins fourth

Chase Hair helped the Dalton Dolphins get off to a solid start in the Chattanooga Area Swim League City Meet on Wednesday by finishing second in the 15-18-year-old diving competition at The Baylor School in Chattanooga. Hair wound up with 231.30 points.

The Dolphins had two other medal winners. Taylor Mathis was third in the 13-14 boys division with 147.90 points, while Jamey Fuller was third in the 9-10 boys division with 85.90.

Taylor Dale took fourth place in the 13-14 boys division and finished just shy of winning a medal with 136.85 points. Garrison Mulkey was sixth in the 11-12 boys with 102.45 and Daniella Hannah was eighth in the 11-12 girls with 55.35.

Stuart Heights won the diving competition and leads the team standings with 297 points. Signal Mountain had 230, Chattanooga Golf and Country Club 159 and Dalton 88.

The swimming competition begins at 7:30 a.m. Friday at Baylor and concludes on Saturday evening.
