Bradley Wellness Center is adding Group Power, a challenging yet achievable program that uses adjustable barbells (weighing from 5 to 65 pounds), which makes it ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. The class includes a workout of all the major muscle groups of the body in 10 entertaining music tracks.
The class starts with a warm-up, then moves on to squats, chest, back, triceps, biceps, lunges, shoulders, core and then finishes with a stretch.
“You’ll know you’ve worked hard after this hour of power,” said Laura Barnes, group fitness coordinator. “Anyone can come to any of these classes and do a challenging workout for them that will give them maximum benefit and results.”
Body Training Systems is a company that researches, develops and designs pre-choreographed routines for a group fitness participant, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Participants will receive a consistent workout every time.
“It’s always more exciting to work out in groups where you can be motivated by your friends and peers as the time flies by,” said Barnes. “Group fitness classes are so effective for pushing you harder than you might work on your own and keeping you on track with your routine. It holds you accountable, which is something so many of us need to stick with it.”
Group Power classes will kick off April 11. Get more details by visiting bradleywell.com or the center’s Facebook page, or by calling (706) 278-WELL (9355).
