Screven County 11, Coahulla Creek 1

Coahulla Creek fell in its first game of the Citizen’s Bank Invitational at Swainsboro High to Screven County.

Irvin Hernandez and Donavan Sims each had a hit in the loss. Matt Jenkins was credited with the RBI. Kyle Felker took the loss on the mound, pitching the first three innings.

Swainsboro 17, Coahulla Creek 8

Coahulla Creek fell in its second game of the Citizen’s Bank Invitational to Swainsboro.

Sims was 1-for-3 with three RBIs. Joel Estrada had a home run.

The Colts host Southeast Whitfield at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Chattooga 14, Southeast Whitfield 4

Southeast Whitfield lost its first game at Chattooga in five innings.

Bryson Lofton was 2-for-2 in the loss with two RBIs. Adam Sowder took the loss, pitching the first two and 2/3 innings.

Chattooga 7, Southeast Whitfield 4

Southeast (1-2) scored three runs in the top of the first inning but could not hold on in its second game at Chattooga.

Javier Favela was 3-for-4, while Lofton was 2-for-2 with one RBI. Javier Hernandez finished the loss 2-for-4 with one RBI. Jacob Gentry took the loss, pitching the first three innings.

The Raiders play at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Murray.

Morgan County 10, Christian Heritage 0 (five innings)

Elian Bautista and Syd Reece each had a hit in the loss for the Lions (0-2). Luke Owen pitched the first three innings to take the loss on the mound.

Savannah Christian 11, Christian Heritage 1 (five innings)

Ryan Langford was 1-for-2 with one RBI. Christian Thomas also had a hit. Reece took the loss, pitching the first two and 2/3 innings. He had three strikeouts.

The Lions play at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Gordon Central.

Gianny Valenzuala was 2-for-3 in the loss for the Colts. Ben Glines recorded four strikeouts on the mound in the first three innings, while Joel Estrada took the loss.
