Joe Gonzalez, sophomore, Dalton Academy (midfielder): 33 goals; 19 assists. Region 7-A DI Player of the Year. GACA Class A DI All-State first team.

FIRST TEAM

Miguel Arredondo, senior, Coahulla Creek (midfielder): 15 goals; 16 assists. Region 6-3A team. GACA Class 3A All-State second team.

Romeo Chavarria, senior, Dalton (defender): GACA Class 5A All-State first team.

Victor Cordoba, senior, Southeast Whitfield (goalkeeper): Led six-game shutout streak. Region 7-4A Defensive Player of the Year. Region 7-4A first team. GACA Class 4A All-State first team.

Jairo Garcia, senior, Southeast Whitfield (defender/striker): 7 goals; 7 assists. Moved to striker after four games and helped spark an 11-game win streak. Region 7-4A first team.

Jakob Hendrickson, junior, Murray County (goalkeeper): 4 shutouts. Region 7-2A second team. GACA Class 2A All-State second team.

Seth Hendrickson, junior, Murray County (defender): Region 7-2A second team. GACA Class 2A All-State honorable mention.

Omar Mendiola, junior, Coahulla Creek (midfielder): 16 goals; 6 assists. Region 6-3A team. GACA Class 3A All-State honorable mention.

Matthew Molina, senior, Northwest Whitfield (midfielder): 17 goals; 8 assists. Region 7-4A Offensive Player of the Year. Region 7-4A first team. GACA Class 4A All-State first team.

Diego Paez, senior, Dalton (midfielder): GACA Class 5A All-State honorable mention.

Joseph Pina, junior, Southeast Whitfield (wing): 14 goals; 14 assists. Led Southeast in goals and assists despite missing first four games of the year. Region 7-4A first team. GACA Class 4A All-State honorable mention.

Carson Russell, senior, Christian Heritage (midfielder/forward): 24 goals. Scored a school-record seven goals in one game. Area 4-A DII first team. GACA Class A-DII All-State first team.

Angel Salaises, senior, Dalton (wing): 10 goals; 6 assists. Dalton team captain. GACA Class 5A All-State second team.

David Saldana, senior, Dalton (center midfielder): 13 goals; 13 assists. Dalton team captain. GACA Class 5A All-State first team.
