Dalton splits tri-match
Dalton went 1-1 in a Thursday tri-match, beating Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 2-1 but dropping to Central-Carrollton 2-1.

Against Central, Dalton took the first set 25-23, but the Lions grabbed the second 25-20 to force a third. Central won 15-13 in the tiebreaking set.
After a hard-fought 27-25 win over LFO in set one, Dalton dropped the second set 25-23 to again necessitate a third set. Dalton won the third this time though, 15-8, to take the match.
Dalton plays Woodland and Cartersville on Tuesday.
Christian Heritage beats Coosa, drops to Darlington
Christian Heritage split a Thursday tri-match, falling to Darlington 2-0 but beating Coosa 2-0.
Darlington took the first set 25-11 and the second 25-18. Taylor Horne had 14 digs in the mach, and Kristen Michmerhuizen and Carly Bramlett both had four kills. Bramlet added five assists, as did Jadyn Horne.

The Lady Lions downed Coosa 25-15 and 25-13.
Kate Regal had 10 digs, while Michmerhuizen had six kills and four digs. Devyn Leach had four kills, and Anna Kate Swiney had five aces.
Christian Heritage takes part in a tournament at Coosa on Saturday.
North Murray takes game over Dalton Academy at tri-match
North Murray took a game over The Dalton Academy 2-0 during a Thursday tri-match. Both schools lost 2-0 to Dade County.
Against TDA, North Murray took the first set 25-10, then won the second 25-11.
For the Lady Pumas, Isabella Quiñones had two aces. Haley Marquez had one dig and a service reception. Berenice Campos had two digs. Rosa had one ace and two service receptions. Seidy Luego had two kills and Christal Santiago had two digs.
TDA dropped its game with Dade County 25-10 and 25-9. Campos had four digs and an ace. Luego had one kill and two digs, while Marquez had two digs.
Dalton Academy and North Murray play in a tri-match with Fannin County on Tuesday.
Northwest wins over Ridgeland, falls to Heritage
Northwest Whitfield took down Ridgeland 25-22 aand 25-12, but was edged by Heritage in two close sets Thursday, 26-24 and 25-21.
On the night for the Lady Bruins, Megan Torbett had 21 assists and five kills. Mary Susan Broadrick had 12 kills and six blocks. Beckley Manning and Jenna Quinn both had nine kills, and Kierstyn Holland had six kills and five digs. Sarah Kate Tidwell had seven assists.
Northwest plays Coahulla Creek and Dalton in a tri-match Thursday.
Coahulla Creek falls to Sale Creek
Coahulla Creek dropped 3-0 to Sale Creek Thursday.
After a narrow, 26-24 win in set one by Sale Creek, Coahulla dropped the second 25-18 and the third 25-17.
Alyce Norton had 16 digs and 12 kills, while Jelleny Mallozzi had 17 assists, seven digs and seven kills. Katie Hambright had 11 assists, and Elizabeth Snow had six kills, three digs and an assist.
Coahulla Creek takes part in a tournament on Saturday.
Murray drops a pair
Murray County fell in two games of a Thursday tri-match, dropping to Trion 2-1 and Gordon Lee 2-0.
Murray pushed the first set against Trion to 29-27 before rallying to take the second set 25-16. Trion took the tiebreaker 15-11.
Gordon Lee won 25-10 and 25-14.
Murray County plays Gordon Central and Model on Tuesday.
