Southeast Whitfield (0-2) couldn’t manage any points for a second straight game as the Raiders lost 32-0 to Coosa (1-0) Friday night at home.

A Jyshughn Turner touchdown run put Coosa up 16-0 after a quarter, and Charlie Cannon connected with Jaylen Worfford for a 40-yard touchdown pass to make the score 22-0 at halftime.

After a field goal early in the third, Coosa capped the scoring with a short touchdown run by Harrison East.

Southeast has now lost two straight to Coosa. The Raiders beat Coosa 14-7 in 2022, but the Raiders fell just short in a 28-25 loss last season.

After a 62-0 loss to open the season and Friday’s 32-0 defeat, Southeast has been outscored 94-0 in two games this year.
