Murray County trounced 49-6 by unbeaten North Cobb Christian

North Cobb Christian showed why it’s navigated its schedule without a blemish so far, cruising past Murray County 49-6 in Kennesaw on Friday night.

Murray County (1-6, 0-5 Region 7-2A) fell behind 28-0 after the first quarter to North Cobb Christian (7-0, 4-0 Region 7-2A).

NCC added another pair of TDs in the second to increase the lead to 42-0 at half, then made it 49-0 after three quarters.

Murray got in for a late touchdown to avoid the shutout.

After playing against an undefeated team on the road, Murray County returns home to play a winless team next week.

Murray County hosts 0-6 Coahulla Creek next Friday at 7:30 p.m.
