Christian Heritage School 45, Armuchee 26
Christian Heritage School (8-2, 6-1 Region 7-A DI) left Rome with a win over Armuchee (3-8, 0-7 Region 7-A DI) Friday night.

Lions quarterback Carter Triplett was 17-for-34 with 266 passing yards and 18 rushing yards on eight carries.
Two of those eight carries ended in touchdowns for Triplett, with another two touchdowns coming from Thailan Christopher, who ended the game with 168 rushing yards and 21 receiving yards.
Also scoring for the Lions were sophomore Bronx Stallion, who had three receptions for 47 yards, and senior Henry Stanley, who returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown.
Rounding out the scoring for the Lions was kicker Sam Bishop, who successfully kicked a 25-yard field goal.
With the win, Christian Heritage finishes second in Region 7-A DI behind Fannin County and qualifies for the Georgia High School Association Private State Football Playoffs. A date and opponent will be revealed following the final round of regular season games this Friday.
Grace Baptist Academy 36, Southeast Whitfield 32

Despite taking the lead late into Friday night’s game in Chattanooga, Southeast Whitfield (1-8, 0-1 Region 7-4A) suffered a last-minute loss to Grace Baptist Academy (7-3) in a back-and-forth battle.
Scoring all five touchdowns for the Raiders was Noah Singleton, whose 30 points broke Southeast’s school record for a single game. The record was previously held by Brady Ensley, whose four touchdowns and a two-point conversion totaled 26 points in a 2022 game.
The game was Southeast Whitfield’s final outing for the 2024 season, with the Raiders seventh in the eight-team Region 7-4A standings.
Rockmart 28, North Murray 7
Rockmart (8-2, 8-0 Region 7-2A) kept North Murray (6-4, 5-3 Region 7-2A) to a single touchdown in Chatsworth Friday night during both teams’ last region game of the season.
Scoring a touchdown for the Mountaineers was Tyler Henry with an 8-yard run deep into the third quarter.
Among the scorers for Rockmart were Tristan Anderson and Tyree McCrary, who had two rushing touchdowns and ran a kick back for a third.
Rockmart remains in first place in the Region 7-2A standings.
Despite the loss, North Murray, which is third behind North Cobb Christian, qualifies for the Georgia High School Association Class 2A Playoffs. The Mountaineers’ first round opponent, as well as the date and time, will be made known following the final round of regular season games this Friday.
Ringgold 42, Coahulla Creek 3
Coahulla Creek (1-9, 1-7 Region 7-2A) lost on the road at Ringgold (7-3, 5-3 Region 7-2A) Friday.
The Colts’ lone score, a 26-yard field goal, was by Brett Pause in the second quarter.
Ringgold’s scores included two touchdowns from Kishaun Taylor, one a 93-yard touchdown run, and two from Jeremiah Frost. The Tigers’ final touchdown came when Brayden Boyd intercepted a Waelyn Baliles pass and returned it 31 yards.
Baliles finished 12-for-23 with 90 yards passing and 61 rushing yards.
Leading the Colts in receiving was Tyler Douglas, who had 25 receiving yards along with 61 rushing yards.
Coahulla Creek junior Elijah Faraji led in tackles for the Colts with six.
The Colts’ loss to Ringgold places them in eighth-place in Region 7-2A, which has nine teams.
Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 57, Murray County 0
Murray County (1-9, 0-8 Region 7-2A) fell to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (4-6, 3-5 Region 7-2A) on the road Friday night.
L-FO had two receiving touchdowns from Jamie Hinton, two rushing touchdowns from Trae Lewis and additional touchdowns from Jared Mitchell, Malachi Brown, Josh Canada and Carson Goff.
Warriors quarterback Darian Keefe was 13-for-14 with 258 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Murray County still leads the series against the Warriors 25-22. L-FO’s 57 points were the most by a Warriors team since 2017, when they defeated Murray County 54-31.
In the Region 7-2A standings, which includes nine teams, Murray County is ninth. Ringgold is fourth behind North Murray, North Cobb Christian and Rockmart.
