High school baseball: Dalton falls on road in weather-shortened game

Dalton fell on the road on Friday night after the second lightning delay forced the stoppage of the game and a final was declared after six innings. The loss drops the Catamounts to 4-6, 0-3 in Region 6-6A while the victory improves Allatoona to 7-5, 2-1.

James Rogers scored the lone run for Dalton while Jack Ridley recorded the Catamounts’ only hit.

Dalton will play at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday at home against Allatoona.
