Murray County sweeps North Murray
Murray County (3-11) made a clean sweep over North Murray (2-10) Thursday night, beating the Lady Mountaineers 3-0.

Murray won the first set 25-19, the second 25-16 and the third 25-18.
Murray plays LaFayette and Gordon Lee on Saturday, while North Murray plays Rockmart and Creek on Tuesday.
Coahulla sweeps Thursday tri-match
Coahulla Creek (14-5) won a pair of games at a Thursday tri-match, defeating both Chattooga (15-8) and Dade County (7-12) in two sets.
Creek downed Chattooga 25-12 in the first and 25-17 in the second.
Mallory Priest had eight aces and four digs. Elisabeth Snow had five kills and a dig, while Mia Gibson and Aubree Langley each had three kills.

Against Dade, Creek won 25-15, 25-16.
Katie Hambright had 11 assists and two digs and aces apiece. Jenna Hamlin and Madison Stewart each had two kills.
Coahulla plays in a weekend event at The Lovett School in Atlanta.
Northwest beats Southeast during tri-match
Northwest Whitfield (9-9) took down Southeast Whitfield (5-18) during a Thursday tri-match, but both schools fell to Ringgold (14-9).
Northwest beat Southeast in three sets. Northwest took the first 25-13, but Southeast bounced back with a 26-24 win in the second. Northwest won 15-8 in the third set to take the match.
Both teams lost to Ringgold in two sets.
Ringgold took the first set 28-26 over Northwest and the second 25-19. Ringgold beat Southeast 25-7 and 25-11.
On the night for Southeast, Emily Vargas totaled 14 digs and 11 kills, while Yaretzi Hernandez had 14 digs and 13 assists. Ann Grammer had six kills and three blocks.
Northwest plays Calhoun and Ridgeland on Tuesday, while Southeast plays Hiram and Cartersville Tuesday.
Model slips past Christian Heritage
Christian Heritage (9-9) fell 2-1 to Model (18-12) in a highly-contested region match Thursday.
After a 25-22 defeat in the first set, Christian Heritage won the second 26-24. Model took the third 15-11 to grab the win.
Carly Bramlett had 15 digs, seven kills, five assists and an ace for Christian Heritage. Taylor Horne had 10 digs, and Jadyn Horne had nine assists and eight digs. Kristen Michmerhuizen had six kills and four blocks.
Christian Heritage plays in a weekend event at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson.
Dalton Academy drops to Gordon Lee
Dalton Academy (0-14) fell to Gordon Lee (25-5) in two sets Thursday.
Gordon Lee took the first set 25-6, then blanked TDA in the second 25-0.
The Lady Pumas play Model and Georgia School for the Deaf on Tuesday.
